30th anniversary album “Mangetsu ~Aki~” out now
Mangetsu ~Aki~ (Full Moon ~Autumn~), the album celebrating 30 years since Eisuke’s debut, is now available on streaming and download services. (CD release: October 27.)
His first original album in nine years, it was composed on full-moon nights, recorded on a full moon and released on a full moon — the second album in the Full Moon series, 16 years after Mangetsu ~Fuyu~ (2005).
Since January 2004 Eisuke has written a new piece on every full moon; from more than 200 of them he chose the pieces best suited to autumn. September 21 is also the anniversary of his debut. Cellist Fumie Kato joins him on “AMORE” and “WINDS INSIDE YOU”.
