Eisuke Mochizuki began playing piano at the age of four, and over the years has been influenced by classical work, movie soundtracks, AOR, fusion and various other musical genres. He began full-fledged band activities during his high school years, and continued to compose as a fusion artist. Immediately after being accepted into Keio University, meanwhile, he signed a contract with the BMG Victor Rhizome label.
In 1990, while a university sophomore, Mochizuki released his debut album "Waitin' for You." Active as a member of the B.B. Queens.
In 1993 he released his second album "Still I Love You," which is thematically focused on love ballads, to be followed up in 1994 with his third album "The Ends of Love and Sorrow." The appeal of his music is manifested in the blend of its easy listening, beautiful melodies, and highly polished arrangements.
In addition to his solo career, Mochizuki continues to expand the realm of his activity through the supply of musical compositions to ZARD, Yuiko Tsubokura and other well-known artists.Mochizuki says that from here on, he hopes to carry on his musical career in the capacity of a producer.In the production of sounds unfettered by particular musical genres, he is a young artist from whom great things are expected for many years to come.
